That's what the person who uploaded this video on YouTube thinks. I guess "vulgarian" is a good thing!

Tech Support?

After seeing this photo, I will think about Tech Support differently if I get an Indian female's voice on the other line. Che bella!

Meera Jasmine

Meera Jasmine is known as a "regional" actress, meaning that she does not work in Bollywood cinema, which technically does not describe Indian cinema as a whole, but the cinema arising out of Bombay. As you can see by Meera's photo, regional actresses tend to look more like the classical Indian woman than their Bollywood counterparts, who prefer to imitate a more Western look, sometimes with the help of surgery. (Some of those noses look a little too pert!) Regional actresses also tend to have body shapes more representative of natural women, rather than bodies that aim for Western fashion ideals of thinness. There's just more woman there to hold and love!

This photo is from her newest film, NEPALI:

Kiran Desai

Born in New Delhi, 36-year-old Kiran Desai is the youngest recipient of the prestigious Man Booker Prize for her novel THE INHERITANCE OF LOSS (in 2006). Until the age of 14 she lived in India and then briefly moved on to England with her mother (author Anita Desai), before settling in America for her higher education. Kiran's beauty is more traditional Indian, and soulful, than the Bollywood actresses whose photos grace Indian websites and blogs. Some nice photos of her prove that beauty and brains can be expressive partners at times.

The Most Desirable Indian Women

Or at least that's the title of this 21-minute show that's on YouTube. Most are Bollywood actresses; there may be a model or two in there someplace, but even then, they are probably making a film right now! I have to disagree with the #1 selection, however.

The Most Beautiful Woman in the World?

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai --

-- has been called "the most beautiful woman in the world," but while we think that she is indisputably stunning, other Indian women can lay claim to that coveted title. (Beauty is also in the eyes of the beholder, so different eyes, different prize.) Here is one Bollywood actress who is equally stunning and perhaps has more animal sex appeal: Malaika Arora Khan --

Introduction

What better introduction than a beautiful Indian woman.
